Provide Case ID

What is Case ID?

User's actions on the IREX Platform are logged in full detail in accordance with the accountability principle of GDPR and other internationally-approved regulations. However, some of those actions require even more attention. Specifically, these are the ones related to privacy and human rights such as searches for persons and personal vehicles, enrollments of persons or vehicles onto watchlists in the system database and some others.

Such actions require justification on IREX Platform in the form of a Case ID, which is a reference to a document providing legal grounds for doing so. E.g., a police file of a fugitive or sexual offender, search case ID of a missing child, etc.

Case ID actions are logged in the system Logbook together with the Case ID provided.
