Collaborate
An event might require a response from a team initially not meant to be a Platform user. If this is the case, use the Add User and Create User Group features of the Platform to invite whoever is needed, e.g., experts, decision-makers, etc.
Members of a response team built this way will have all relevant information displayed consistently no matter where they physically are, mobile mode included.
Share resources
Each team member can contribute to the available resources array, e.g., by adding new persons or vehicles to the database or creating better-tuned alarm monitors. Other resources, such as floor plans, can only be added in top-level Roles; however, once added, such resources become equally available to all team members.
Create virtual control room
Create a cooperative work environment by promoting collaboration between monitoring agents, city departments, first responders, security services, and other stakeholders.
Such collaboration may take place in the field, in the office, or remotely from home via a messenger configured to receive alarms on an alarm monitor. Alarming locations, snapshots, links to playback, and more are delivered right onto a desktop or mobile device screen.
Unified Messaging: Each user group has a dedicated workspace in the Secure Messenger for direct communication, public or private chats, audio, and video calls. The messaging platform is deployed on the same private cloud infrastructure as the Smart City Platform.
Alert Cobots: The cobot automatically creates messenger channels (i.e., group chats) for shared event filters, adds authorized users, and pushes real-time alerts to the channels with event images, text descriptions, as well as deep links to play video. In the demo below, the cobot sends photos of pre-identified people and vehicles entering a facility. Channel members can browse, comment, forward alerts, and upload evidence media. All the activities of the cobot and users appear in the channel.
